Meet the City Chiropractic Team

Hi I’m Tracey,

I am here to help make your visits to City Chiropractic as enjoyable as possible. Here’s a little bit about me.

I am a Mother of 3 who was born and bred in Auckland. I have worked, mainly in administration roles and recently have helped my husband in our own business. I felt that with my children reaching adulthood, it was time to assume a fulltime role again. This position as Chiropractic assistant is perfect for me.

I have always enjoyed keeping fit and have at one stage been an aerobics instructor. I have recently turned to running and have completed many half marathons and 2 marathons.  This year I am training to run the Auckland marathon with my oldest daughter.

I have found that Chiropractic care has been really good for my training. I have had a long term problem with sciatica which used to be aggravated on long runs. Since I started getting regular Chiropractic adjustments I have not had any difficulties and my running has improved. I have also noticed improvement with my general health and have become a great advocate of Chiropractic.

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimise our health and be all that you were designed to be.
