Central City and Takapuna Chiropractor
Second Visit

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Welcome back for your 20 minute report of findings visit. On this visit the Chiropractor will explain the examination that was conducted, go over the examination findings, discuss the conclusions that have been made and propose a schedule of care that is specific to you and your needs. You will be given all of the information in writing, in an easy to read folder, that you can take home with you. This will provide you with enough information so that you will be able to explain to friends and family, what the findings were, and what is going to happen to you. You will be asked to make a commitment to the care plan and to the self help recommendations.

You will receive your first Chiropractic adjustment on this visit. It is recommended that you drink a glass of water following your adjustment and walk for 10 minutes.

After you have been adjusted you will make your way to reception where one of our lovely Chiropractic assistants will organise your future appointments and discuss any payment plans that may be applicable. Time and money are normally the 2 biggest obstacles to health and our CAs are experts in finding solutions.

Dr. Nick Asks some important questions of interest to Central City residents - Chiropractor Central City Dr. Nick Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
What's the difference between maintenance, prevention and wellness?
Maintenance chiropractic care is an attempt to keep a dynamic, ever-changing and adapting organism (you) in a static relationship with your environment. Preventive chiropractic care is mostly about early detection. Wellness chiropractic care is an attempt to optimise our health and be all that you were designed to be.
